5 Emojis that describe me

Hello. I am back from the depths of a truly stressful life and willing to give up the view minutes of freedom I have to write a blogpost. I have so much work at the moment that I feel like writing something fun, something like a tag. This was inspired by the incredibly talented Troye Sivan who made a video about the 5 Emojis that he'd use to describe himself.
I personally found it a great idea so I decided to do it myself. Here we go.

The tears of joy emoji
I am generally a very positive person and love having a good laugh. Nothing feels better than crying of laughter (apart from your bed after a long day...) especially if it is with good friends. There's this quote about how a day without laughter is a day wasted. I completely agree. (This is also my top used emoji on my phone)

The artist palette emoji
Art, photography, writing, etc. I love everything that involves being creative and I couldn't imagine life without e.g. my camera. It is a part of me that is very important to me. If everything goes well, my future job will certainly involve being creative and having the freedom to actualize my ideas.

The family emoji
Ohana means family and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten. This one might be obvious, but my family is a crucial part of my life. Cringey but true. For me this emoji also includes all my friends who are like family to me! Thank you for being amazing.

 The plane emoji
I HATE flying. I get really anxious and it makes my skin go horrible. So obviously this emoji doesn't stand for the plane but for why I need it. If the world was a dream factory I would just travel the world and take photographs. My life goal is to see as much of the world as possible. I am very jealous of people who earn their money through travelling, so I am aiming to do exactly that.

The cyclone emoji
Because my life is chaotic. I never know what's coming next, who the next person I meet will be, whether I will achieve my dreams. But I won't give up. I will live every day to the fullest and work hard to get where I want to be. And if something doesn't go to plan, I try again. And again. Because one day it will.

 Top - Forever 21

2: Ever been in love?
Maybe. I thought at the time I was, but I believe now that I am still too young to fall in love head over heels.

3: Ever had a terrible breakup?
No breakup ever is nice but I wouldn't say I've ever had a really terrible one (let's hope it stays that way!)

4: How tall are you?
I want to say over 165cm. I don't actually know tho.

5: How much do you weigh?
Does it matter?

6: Any tattoos?
I wish! My parents would not be happy, but it is on my bucket list. I want it to be meaningful though, so I am still waiting for something to happen that I want to show everyone on my body for the rest of my life.

7: Any piercings?
Earholes, and a second piercing in my right ear. Again I really want a nose piercing but need to find the courage to get one!

8: OTP?
Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler. They represent relationship goals.

9: Favourite show?
Great British Bake Off. I am awful at baking but love watching people do it (the irony).

10: Favourite bands?
Er too many. One Direction, 1975, ACDC, Little Mix, Maroon 5, Spice Girls, Fall Out Boy, ...

11: Something you miss?
Not worrying so much about life!

12: Favourite song?
Changes every week, right now probably Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars.

13: How old are you?
300 and counting.

Capricorn.

Honest, funny, loving, different, active, interested, faithful ;)

Turquoise.

Depends on my mood and where I am :D Right now loud and powerful!

20: Where do you go when you're sad?
I go to my mum.

21: How long does it take you to shower?
Haha ages. If I have the time up to half an hour.

22: How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Same here, if I have the time up to 1 hour. I can be ready in 5 minutes tho!

23: Ever been in a physical fight?
I don't think so. I'm so boring :')

24: Turn on?
Self confidence (not too much) and making other people feel good about themselves.

25: Turn off?
Loud farting and finding it hilarious.

26: The reason I joined blogging?
I wanted to see whether I could do it and I have always admired bloggers! Also photography is my passion so why not share it with other people?

Flying and death.

Um... probably college. The stress is really getting to us all!

My best friend yesterday.

PASTA. Or Tiramisu? Maybe Sunday Roast... Oh no, Paella! I love Paella!

Australia! I am going there for my gap year if everything works out!

College. Or Germany - depends how you interpret the question ;)

Thomas Sangster.

Yesterday - my cat didn't appreciate it.

I don't know. I try to ignore insults they don't add anything to my life.

42: Favourite flavour of sweet?
Chocolatey.

43: What instruments do you play?
I used to play the piano but stopped half a year ago involuntarily - I just can't find the time to do it anymore. I also played the violin for 3 years but then stopped cuz I was awful.

44: Favourite piece of jewellery?
Earrings. They add something to every outfit!

45: Last sport you played?
Modern dance.

46: Last song you sang?
Suddenly I see by KT Tunstall. It's been stuck in my song forever.

Did it hurt when you fell from heaven? Because it looks like you landed on your face. (I don't like chat up lines...)

Would you rather Beauty TAG

I love 'would you rather' tags, although I am horrible at making decisions. But who doesn't like to challenge themselves ;). This time I decided to do a beauty edition, 10 'would you rathers' concerning everything beauty related. Get ready, set, GO:

1. Would you rather go out with messy hair and nice make-up or nice hair and no make-up?

Well, this one is actually quite easy as I love the messy hair look and wear it every day anyway so I'd choose nice make-up and messy hair. However the person who created this probably didn't mean the nice type of messy hair but still.... the face is more important than hair :D

2. Would you rather shave your eyebrows or have your eyelashes fall out?

Definitely shave my eyebrows. Until they grow back I could just draw them on with an eyebrow pencil ( loads of girls do that anyway because of over plucking their eyebrows). If my eyelashes fell out it would look really weird when they start growing back and I don't even know if fake lashes would stick without the real ones to support them.

3. Would you rather be forced to shop only at MAC or Sephora for the rest of your life?

Here in the UK we don't have Sephora, but as far as I know they have lots of different brands so I'd only shop at Sephora. As much as I like MAC, I think different brands have different strengths so just relying on one brand would be too risky for me.

4. Would you rather wear lipgloss/lipliner look or 80's perm?

80's perm all the way. I wish I was born in the 80's, I love how crazy and colourful and just over the top everything was. Literally I don't even need a bad other option (like the ligloss/lipliner look - ugh) to agree on getting an 80's perm ;)

5. Would you rather leave the house with an obvious foundation line or overdone blush?

Um, probably an obvious foundation line (have probably done it before...), because I absolutely HATE overdone blush. My face gets red really easily, so with overdone blush I'd just look like a walking tomato!

6. Would you rather wear MC Hammer pants or biker shorts in public?

MC Hammer pants all the way haha. I think they can actually look pretty cool on girls, if you don't drown in them. (If you didn't know, MC Hammer pants are loose fitting trousers inspired by harem pants) Justin Bieber really needs to stop wearing them tho...

7. Would you rather have a bad orange-y spray tan or really weird tan lines that can't be covered?

Tan lines because it'd probably mean I'm naturally tanned rather than that super fake orange stuff. I don't actually tan so having weird tan lines would be more of an achievement than embarrassment to me ;)

8. Would you rather have a bad haircut or bad hair colour?

Oh I've had bad hair colours before e.g. when I was thirteen and thought red would look good on me...
So I'd probably choose a bad hair colour, which is easy to change and I sadly have experience dealing with.

9.Would you rather have youtube or twitter taken away forever?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. How's that beauty :'( I would probably go for twitter because youtube is my TV, but then how would I connect to fellow bloggers... This is what I call a first world problem!

10. Would you rather give up using makeup brushes or mascara?

Makeup brushes because mascara is my holy grail beauty product. And I could use sponges or simply my hands to apply my makeup.

The Christmas Tag

 Time to get real. Thanks to the lovely Kerry for tagging me!

1. What is your favourite Christmas movie?
 It's Elf :) Just joking I've actually never seen that film before oops. Anyway my favourite Christmas movie is The Polar Express. It's just the cutest movie ever and it brings back so many good memories from when I was little.

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas eve or Christmas morning?
Surprisingly even though I live in the UK I open my presents on Christmas Eve. I was born in Germany and have many relatives there so we traditionally celebrate it on the 24th, as this is the official Christmas day there.

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
I honesty can't think of a particular one. I thought it was really special way back when me and my sister (SPOILER) still believed in Santa Claus but every Christmas is just so amazing. Spending time with all your family and making them happy is just the best thing ever.

4. Favourite festive food?
Well we usually have fish and baguette as Christmas dinner but my favourite food is all the Christmas cookies. My Grandma makes hundreds every year and they are just sooo good. I recently tried making some cookies myself which made me feel very festive!

5. Favourite Christmas gift?
Oh I really don't know. I'm so thankful for all the gifts I get but I especially love the ones where the person it's from has put it some thought and love (so probably everything). I do remember getting my cats as a Christmas gift tho and I still love them endlessly!

6. Favourite Christmas scent?
The Christmas tree and that of someone cooking/baking. I mean I love that scent all year round because I love food but at Christmas time it's just that tiny bit more amazing.

7. Do you have any Christmas eve traditions?
As I said before we actually give present then and we also have a lovely dinner. Afterwards my whole family sits together and sings some songs (cringe I know) and just enjoys the evening.

8. What tops your tree?
A really cute silver star that we've had for ages! I think its several generations old.

9. As a kid, what was one crazy gift you asked for but never received?
 I'm pretty sure I asked for a dolphin. I had a few years where I was absolutely obsessed with dolphins (bit of a weird obsession for a kid if you ask me) so instead of a real one I just got several toy ones. It's not as if I still have them somewhere... ;)

10. What's the best part of Christmas for you?
Time to say the cliche: Spending time with my family. It's true though, It is the only time in the year where I see them all at once and actually have time to talk to them. I also adore seeing the people I love receiving gifts that make them happy (hopefully the ones I got them).
