All things summer

Summer has finally come! It is time to go and do all those things you can only do in summer. I collected some ideas of what to do on one of those boiling hot summer days. I could go on forever about summer activities but since I don't want this blogpost to be too long, I just put in a few of my favourites!

1) Wear your sandals!

This is one of the best things about summer, especially if you live in the rainy UK. Paint your toe nails with your favourite colouful nailpolish and go put on your strappy sandals! Nothing feels better than being finally able to show off your feet after a long and rainy winter/spring.

2) Go for a walk in the park!

This might sounds slightly boring but there are times when you just want to be alone, and instead of sitting in your room, dying off the heat it is so much better to just go outside, find the nearest green space and jut walk around. Maybe listen to music on your Ipod and just enjoy a bit of alone time. You could also take a book and a towel and chill a bit in the park. An amazing book to read is 'Looking for Alaska' by John Green. It is so different and interesting, and is just as good as 'The Fault in our stars'.

3) Make a cool drink!

In summer you sweat a lot. Obviously. One of the most important things to do in summer is drink a lot! But it doesn't have to be just water on its own. You can mix water with a bit of fruit concentrate - this makes the drink healthy and more fun to drink. Also nothing is more cooling than an ice cold drink! So don't forget to add loaaaaddssss of ice cubes.

I love Robinsons lemon concentrate. It has no added sugar/artificial colours or flavours. Mixed with water and ice cubes it makes and amazing drink for those hot days and it is superhealthy.

4) Go to a festival!

The most amazing festivals take place in summer. I really want to go to the Holi festival in London (http://www.holifestival.com/uk/en/index) but sadly I missed it. But there are a lot of other, fun festivals to go to this summer. It is the perfect thing to do with your friends - you get to be outside, meet lots of other people and just have an amazing time!

I hope you enjoyed my ideas for summer! I have a lot more so please let me know if you want to see them. Have an amazing time :)
